what has been the biggest news story of the day in the UK?

The One who answers

In UK news today, the biggest story appears to be the suspected bomb plot near RAF Fairford in Gloucestershire, with five men arrested and counter-terror police investigating a possible Iran link. It was the lead UK story across major coverage I could verify today. (https://www.theguardian.com/theguardian/mainsection/…)

I heard Trump state that they [USA] was watching them. What concerns me is why not stop them before. Explosives in a village, had it have gone wrong, people killed, buildings damanged!

can the Trump statement be verified in more than 3 sources?

The One who answers

Yes. The statement appears verifiable in well over three independent sources: a White House transcript/video of Trump’s remarks, BBC reporting quoting him, and AP reporting on the same remarks/event. (https://www.whitehouse.gov/videos/president-donald-j…)
